Terms & Conditions (FAQs)

Q: How much do you charge per hour?/per day.

A: I don’t change per hour as I want the tattoo experience to be as fair as possible. This means that if we need breaks, food or anything else, you are not charged for this time. I am only taking full day pieces or larger at this time.

Q: What are booking fees for, are they refundable?

A: No, booking fees are non-refundable. They cover my drawing time, appointment day reservation and admin. A new deposit will be needed if you reschedule your appointment.

Q: You live far away, can I take your design to another artist?

A: Depends: if I can speak to your artist to make sure I am credited and I believe they can deliver a good result. My rates are $1600 onwards. My work is registered and I work very hard on my designs and taking something from the internet to get it done by somewhere else is unethical, rude and insulting, and might get you and your artist in trouble. Please, message me before getting some of my work.

Q: Do you only do black and grey?

A: No, I also love working with colour! When I do this, I work with earthy muted shades and I ask each client if they prefer a warm or a cool palette. I am big on colour theory so giving me one favourite colour to work with is fine, but I like to choose the tones around it myself, applying the colour harmony rules I studied for years.

Q: I want to book in with you but I am from a different state/country.

A: You are more than welcome to book in and travel to me, and book consecutive days to save on travel if your design is a continuation piece.
Keep an eye on my Instagram (turn notifications on) to keep an eye on my travel dates.

Q: How long is a full day? How big is a tattoo that would take a full day?

A: 6h. This can vary slightly depending on breaks, stamina, skin condition etc.

Q: Where is your shop located?

A: I tattoo at my private studio located in South Yarra, Melbourne.

Q: Would you tattoo something small?

A: Only on regular clients or in special occasions. Message me to inquire!

Q: Can I bring friends and family to my tattoo appointment?

A: Not at the moment for safety reasons.

Q: Can I use numbing cream?

A: Yes. Just contact me to advice you on brands.

Q: Do you take card payments?

A: Not at the moment, but I will very soon.

Q: Can I pay for the full piece in instalments?

A: No. A tattoo is a luxury item, and it should be a well earned treat for yourself. I would not want any of my clients to experience any financial trouble because of a tattoo.

Q: I have a continuation piece booking, how far in time can I spread my sittings?

A: As little as possible. With continuation pieces, if they are 2-3 days long I prefer to book them all sessions in a row. It is easier for you guys to keep the excitement of a new tattoo and for me to make sure my style and technique has not changed from sitting to sitting. It is also very hard to continue a tattoo that has been healed for long time, and needs full rework so there is no point: the max I allow in between sittings is 1 month (except special cases like pregnancy etc).

Q: Do your deposits expire?

A: Yes. You will require a new deposit if you need to rebook your piece and you leave it pending for over 3 months. I had clients in the past contacting me to use a deposit the left years ago when I worked at different studios and I have no access to their booking or information about the deposit anymore.

Q: Do you do gift vouchers?

A: Absolutely! Just email me.

Q: Are the flash pieces repeatable?

A: Yes, all my flash design (including my tattoo tickets) are repeatable.
